Like many ancient cities, little is known about Savatra, except through its coins. It was mentioned by several ancient historians, but we know none of its history.

This coin interestingly depicts Athena dropping a pebble into a voting urn, which is how elections were handled back then. Who was elected? We can’t really know, though it appears this coin references some sort of election, whether one from legend or an actual one.
