Sala was an ancient Roman settlement that is today’s Kepecik, Turkey. Ancient coins suggest it was heavily invested in agriculture, such as this one which depicts Tyche and a cornucopia, indicating a favorable (or the wishes for) harvest.
Emperor coinage started from Domitian and lasted at least until Elagabalus. Significant semi-autonomous coinage also exists, such as this one, which is believed to have been minted around the time of Marcus Aurelius.
Little is known about Sala outside of its coinage.
