Kibyra Minor was so named to distinguish it from the larger Kibyra, Caria. It was mentioned by Strabo and Skylax, though its location today has been debated. It is believed to be the same Kyberna mentioned by Stadiasmus. Little is known about the city outside of its coins, which are rare.
