Thelpusa was located between Psophis and Heraia, and between Elaia and Kleitor. It received its name from a nymph Thelpusa, the daughter of Ladon. I’m not sure if it’s the same Ladon who was the dragon who guarded the apples of the Hesperides.
By the time Pausanias visited the city, it was already deserted. Today, only a few fragments of the ruins remain.
