Tyra was an ancient city on the Black Sea colonized by settlers from Miletos in roughly 600 BCE.

This coin and city require more investigation, since there must be some research capable of placing it to such a specific range of dates. I added it because it’s a rare city and I really loved the image of the horse.

The ruins of the city are still visible. The site is in the Odessa oblast of Ukraine.
