The ancient city of Kremna boasted a good defensive position and was occupied by Amyntas of Galatia until it reverted to the Romans on his death.
Its ruins are still visitable, though they’re in a complete mess with very little rebuilt. I haven’t been there, but from photos it looks like a giant box of Greek Legos was unleashed on the countryside. Due to its location, an especially complicated aqueduct was constructed.
In 276, the entire city was taken by a robber from Isaura who used it as a base for looting the region. In the same year, the Emperor Tacitus visited.
On the death of Amyntas, king of Galatia, Rome turns Pisidia – including Sagalassos, Side, and Kremna – into a separate province of Galatia.
Kremna is taken by the robber Lydius from Isaura.
Tacitus visits Kremna.
