The full name of the city was Colonia Iulia Augusta Prima Fida Comama, but as you can see from this coin, the locals just called it “Ko”. It was founded sometime after Augustus became Augustus, but not much else is known about the city.

There are some milestones setup that suggest the city was founded in 6 BCE.
