Hyrgaleis may not have been an individual city but instead a federation of cities north of the Maeander between Dionysopolis and Peltae. Today, no ruins are associated with the place and we don’t know exactly where it was. No ancient sources reference it, and so it’s known only from coinage. The latitude and longitude given here are most likely incorrect.
