Heraklea ad Latmon, also known as Heraklea, was a major city situated on the border between Caria and Ionia. Substantial remains of the ancient city are extant.

In the 4th century BCE, either under Mausolos of Caria or shortly afterward, the older settlement of Latmos was refounded and expanded into a new, planned Hellenistic city called Herakleia ad Latmos. This new city was built on the same site or immediately adjacent to the older Latmos. The city is well-known for its planned grid, demonstrating early city planning.

Much of the city walls remain.
